Education Requirements

Educational Requirements can be completed at an Assemblies of God college or university. Students with a Bible or ministries major at an Assemblies of God college or university will qualify scholastically as follows: two years for certification; three years for license; four years for ordination.

All applicants are required to meet the following minimum study requirements, prescribed by the General Council of the Assemblies of God. These study requirements can be met by enrolling in the Missouri School of Ministry. The Missouri School of Ministry allows the student to complete the study requirements for each level of credential in one year. Students may receive course reduction based on previous studies in other ministry schools.
